Every year people dont return from what was supposed to be a fun day at the lake due to disregard to simple safety practices.

The best way to avoid being a victim of heat stress/stroke is to make sure you cover your head from the sun by wearing a hat and drinking plenty of water.

I have seen people whip open a first aid kid in emergency situations and not have a clue what half the stuff is used for, It's just extra weight if you dont know how to use it, it's pretty pointless if you have to read instuctions while you or your friend is bleeding out.
